Not every change in a 13F is a reset. Some quarters are simple maintenance. A reset quarter is different: the structure of the book changes enough that you should stop using last quarter's story as your default explanation. How to recognize a reset quarter Holdings count shifts sharply. The top of the book changes category, not just weight. New positions and exits cluster together.
