AMEREN CORP
972 institutions still hold AMEREN CORP as of Q1 2026. Tracked across SEC 13F-HR filings, with insider and 13D/G activity surfaced alongside.
The second-largest jump in Ameren's institutional register this quarter didn't come from an active stock-picker. Assenagon Asset Management, a fund 13F Insight's own data classifies as a quasi-passive index vehicle, grew its stake by more than 1,600% in shares — from 5,943 to 102,697 — instantly becoming the stock's second-largest tracked holder at 7.5% of the $154.9 million in institutional value tracked. That's an index mandate rebalancing into a name, not a fresh conviction signal. The real story of active buying sits elsewhere: QRG Capital Management (up 8.8%), Wealth Enhancement Advisory Services (up 23.5%), Hennessy Advisors (up 8.6%) and PensionDanmark (which more than doubled its stake) all built genuine positions, and SteelPeak Wealth opened a new $3.7 million stake. On the sell side, Ameren's single largest holder — Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System, still 37% of tracked value — trimmed 6.8%, the quarter's most significant real sale even as it remains by far the dominant name on the register.
