AI Holders Summary · Q1 2026

Carrhae Capital arrived in EEM with 8.0 million shares worth $549.2 million, instantly becoming the largest reported holder and accounting for about 37.7% of the $1.46 billion tracked institutional value. That single new position transformed an otherwise broad ownership base of 308 institutions into a top-heavy one. Greenfield FTC added an estimated $74.8 million and now holds 8.8% of tracked value, while Beirne Wealth Consulting added about $26.2 million.

The buying was far larger than the leading sales: SteelPeak Wealth reduced EEM by roughly $3.9 million and HT Partners by $2.8 million. Several smaller sellers still recorded higher position values because price appreciation masked their share reductions. EEM's quarter therefore presents a clear accumulation signal, but one dominated by Carrhae rather than a uniform move across all holders—an important concentration risk inside a widely owned emerging-markets fund.

Those additions dwarf the largest reductions. SteelPeak Wealth sold 57,272 shares, an estimated $3.9 million, leaving a $14.5 million position. HT Partners cut 40,560 shares, about $2.8 million, and finished with $12.6 million. PKO Investment Management sold roughly $844,000 of shares, while Farther Finance Advisors reduced its stake by about $507,000.

The reported values for PKO and Farther moved in the opposite direction from their trades. PKO's remaining position increased in value by about $944,000 despite its share sale, and Farther's rose by $1.6 million while it reduced ownership. Price appreciation masked both sales; neither institution should be described as a buyer. The same discipline separates the small trims from the far larger share accumulation at Greenfield and Beirne.
