Last quarter Matson Money owned more VLUE shares; this quarter it holds far more dollar influence despite selling. Matson reduced its stake by an estimated $33.9 million, yet price appreciation lifted the remaining position's reported value by $107.6 million to $456.8 million—about 64.3% of all tracked institutional value. The sale did not cure VLUE's central ownership risk: one institution still dominates a fund held by 111 firms.
Other large holders mostly moved in the same selling direction. Stonehearth Capital cut roughly $20.0 million, Foster Group $3.0 million and Tactive Advisors $3.3 million. Merit Financial provided the strongest counterweight with a $13.8 million purchase, while Systelligence opened a $15.8 million position. The quarter therefore shows price-supported concentration alongside net reductions by several established holders, not broad accumulation.
